Project Assistant

IAMHH e.V. (Industrialized Additive Manufacturing Hub Hamburg) is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Project Assistant to support our executive team. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of 3D printing, research, and industry in an international network.

Responsibilities

Member Management & Communication

  • Manage and support IAMHH e.V. members
  • Draft and distribute newsletters, emails, and presentations
  • Schedule and organize meetings and webinars
  • Take notes and prepare minutes for board and member meetings
  • Track membership fees and payments

Event Management & Organization

  • Support the planning and execution of trade shows and IAMHH events
  • Coordinate participants, speakers, and partners
  • Organize venues, catering, and technical requirement
  • Assist with payment and fee processing
  • Arrange and coordinate travel

Finance & Project Management

  • Support bookkeeping tasks (DATEV)
  • Prepare written and financial reports
  • Assist with public funding applications and project accounting
  • Monitor and report on research project progress

  • Part-time position (20 hours/week), initially limited until the end of 2027 – with the option for extension

What You Bring

  • Completed university degree (Master’s or equivalent) or comparable qualification
  • Experience in project assistance, nonprofit management, or administration is a plus
  • General understanding of 3D printing and manufacturing preferred
  • Strong IT skills, ideally with: DATEV, EasyVerein, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and social competence
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and a sense of responsibility
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
